Time

approx. 15mins

This easy diced steak is served with a garlic soy sauce, making it simpler to prepare than a whole steak. This version uses steak meat, but you can also make it with formed or processed meat. In that case, be sure to cook it all the way through. Use the pan juices left in the skillet to make the sauce for an irresistible combination of rich beef flavor and bold garlic taste!

Instructions

1

Bring the diced beef steak to room temperature and season with salt and pepper.

Note:

Let it sit for 10 to 15 minutes to come to room temperature.

2

Heat the vegetable oil in a skillet over medium heat. Add the diced beef steak and sear for about 1 minute until browned. Turn and roll the pieces to brown all sides, then transfer to a plate. Loosely cover with aluminum foil and let rest for about 5 minutes so the residual heat finishes cooking the meat.

Note:

Adjust the doneness to your liking.

3

Add the ingredients marked with ☆ to the skillet from step 2 and heat over medium heat, stirring, until the butter melts and the sauce begins to bubble.

Note:

Make use of the flavorful pan juices left from cooking the steak.

4

Plate the diced steak and spoon the sauce over it.
