Enjoy it as a dip for tortilla chips or a filling for tacos, and it also makes a great side for meat dishes. If you can’t find lime or red onion, you can substitute lemon or onion.

If the avocado isn’t soft enough, place a banana nearby to help it ripen faster. Since it doesn’t require any heat, it’s very easy to make ^^ I couldn’t forget the guacamole I had at T.G.I.FLYDAYS, and that’s how I found this recipe.

I made this while camping! I didn’t have any tortilla chips, so I used baguette instead. It turned out really delicious and was a big hit!

I served it with a French baguette.

I made it with half the amount of red onion and without tomato! It was delicious ☻

I didn’t have any cilantro, lime, or red onion at home, so I substituted lemon, used raw onion soaked in regular vinegar, and used grated cheese and grated garlic instead of cilantro. I’d be happy to see more recipes that can be made with ingredients people are likely to already have at home.

I made this again for the first time in a while, and it was absolutely delicious! I ate it with lettuce and also dipped potato chips in it, and it really goes well with just about anything. My child tried it for the first time too and said it was tasty, then happily ate a lot of it! I’ll definitely be making it again!

I used an avocado I had just bought, so it wasn’t ripe at all—super hard and impossible to mash 💧 I didn’t add tomato or cilantro! It went amazingly well with smoked salmon and shrimp, and it was absolutely delicious 💞 My family loved it too, so I’ll definitely make it again.

It’s so easy yet truly delicious—I’ve made it so many times I’ve lost count. My family requests it all the time. I usually make it without onion, and it still turns out mild and tasty. For kids, leaving out the onion may make it easier to eat since it removes the sharpness. When I can’t be bothered to squeeze limes, I substitute bottled lemon juice, but regular lemon juice also makes it delicious. I feel the taco chips sold at KALDI pair with it the best.
