Instructions

1

Cut the lemon in half crosswise. Cut 2 thin slices, then cut them in half. Squeeze the juice from the remaining lemon and strain it to make the lemon juice.

2

Use a toothpick to remove the vein from the shrimp. Rinse them with water and drain well.

3

Bring water to a boil in a pot, then add 1 tablespoon of lemon juice and the sake. Add the shrimp and boil over medium heat for about 3 minutes, until cooked through. Drain, let cool slightly, and peel the shells.

4

Put the ingredients marked with ☆ and 1 tablespoon of lemon juice in a bowl and mix well to make the cocktail sauce.

5

Arrange the shrimp and cocktail sauce in a serving glass or dish, and garnish with the lemon.

Note:

You can also serve this with your favorite sauce, such as chili sauce, instead of cocktail sauce.
