Instead of using menma with the chashu, I tried topping it with the thickened bean sprouts from another recipe. I realized soy sauce ramen is actually easy to make at home even without store-bought soup. It was delicious. Thank you for the meal.

The soup turned out light and very delicious. It was a shame I forgot to add the green onion. My family really loved it.

I was able to make this very easily and deliciously using only seasonings I already had on hand♪ It was also helpful that I could use up the Chinese noodles I had left over after buying them for hiyashi chuka. I’d love to make this again♪

I only had marinated eggs and green onions for toppings, but I was amazed I could make ramen with ingredients I already had at home! And it was delicious! It may not quite match the taste of a ramen shop, but it was even better than chilled soy sauce ramen from the store!

I had some vegetables on hand, so I used potato starch to make it Cantonese noodle style. The soup was delicious too.

I was amazed that the soup turned out with just the right flavor! Even a guy living alone can make this easily, too!

The kids seemed to love it so much they even drank up all the soup 😊 I also made some Taiwanese-style minced meat for the adults and turned it into a Taiwanese ramen-style dish, and that was a huge hit too 😆 I’d definitely like to make it again 👍️

It was absolutely delicious!! I can’t believe you can make ramen soup with seasonings you already have at home—and it tastes amazing!! I also added frozen spinach (microwaved first) and toasted nori. Lately, no matter where you go, even if you order shoyu ramen, they often serve a rich, greasy tonkotsu-shoyu ramen instead, which has been disappointing. So I’m thrilled that I can easily make the kind of shoyu ramen I like right at home.
