Put the chicken drumettes and the seasonings marked with ☆ into a plastic bag, then rub well to coat.

Note:

Preheat the oven to 400°F (200°C).

Line a baking sheet with parchment paper. Drain off any excess liquid, then arrange the chicken drumettes skin-side up. Sprinkle with black pepper and drizzle with sesame oil. Bake in the preheated 400°F (200°C) oven for about 20 minutes, until nicely browned and cooked through.

Note:

If they start to brown too much partway through, cover loosely with aluminum foil.
