- pasteurized egg1
- sugar3 tablespoons
- milk120 ml
- vegetable oilas needed

Preparation: Sift the cake flour and baking powder together.

Crack the egg into a bowl and mix. Add the sugar and mix, then add the milk and mix. Add the sifted dry ingredients and stir until no floury streaks remain. Cover with plastic wrap and let rest in the refrigerator for about 15 minutes.

Lightly coat a frying pan with vegetable oil and heat it. Pour in one-quarter of the batter at a time to make round pancakes, cover, and cook over low heat. When bubbles begin to appear on the surface, flip them over, cover again, and cook for about 2 to 3 minutes until browned. Repeat to make 4 pancakes total.

Transfer to a plate, top with unsalted butter, and drizzle with maple syrup.
